‘It got better’: Entitled intern tries to “girl boss” her way to the top, ends up getting her personal items stuck in a locker with someone's smelly shoes

If you have ever done an internship then you should know the number one rule: You have to respect the employees there! The purpose of an internship is to gain knowledge and experience. If you treat the actual employees poorly just because you want to get ahead on the corporate ladder, then you are going to fail. That totally ruins the whole purpose of doing an internship! You should be learning as much as you can from these employees and making connections with people in your field who could potentially help you on your way. Heck, you could even find your mentor while you're during an internship. 

 

For some reason, this intern did not know this rule. She was interning at a psychiatric clinic and was treating the nurse she was paired with horribly. She was so entitled that she couldn't even see that this was her opportunity to gain knowledge and become even better in her profession! Instead, she got a jaded employee who had to reprimand her multiple times and then even seek petty revenge…

  • The petty revenge for this entitled intern came when the nurse she was paired with reach her final straw. The intern decided that she liked the locker that the nurse was using and was going to claim it for herself whether she was allowed to or not. So, the nurse decided to just lock her in with her smelly shoes… After something like this, you wonder how much longer this intern will last.

  • Luckily I brought a good locket. Now the petty revenge: My locker is mine again and her sh is locked in with my work shoes (which can be nasty at times) and if she wants it back she has to tell our supervisor why she thought it's ok to just claim a locker that's not hers, just cause she liked the position.
